Respawn finally revealed all the meta-shifting changes that they are implementing with the mid-seasonal update in the upcoming Chaos Theory collection event.

Among them, Horizon got a pretty substantial nerf as her ultimate cooldown for her black hole has been increased from 2 to 3 minutes. However, fans are still not happy with the nerfs since they believe Horizon’s tactical is the main culprit.

Horizon’s tactical makes her really mobile and hard to shoot. Consequently, players want Respawn to nerf her tactical ability instead of her ultimate. Some fans even suggested that Respawn should add the low-profile perk on Horizon.

Low Profile on Horizon

The low-profile perk in Apex Legends is only viable for legends that are either very small or very mobile. Since Horizon definitely fits the category of a mobile Legend, some fans think adding the low-profile perk would be the perfect fit for Horizon.

“Not sure how I feel about putting low profile on a legend for a patch cycle or two,” Respawn dev on adding low profile perk to Horizon.

On the topic of Horizon, Respawn was apparently working on a nerf for her in Patch 8.1. As they couldn’t complete it within time, they pushed it back to season 9 of Apex Legends.

So, in season 9, Horizon might get nerfed down to planet earth, similar to what Respawn did to Caustic in the Chaos theory update.
