In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can bring your friends and experience the exciting adventure of the game with your Pokémons. This guide will show you how to play multiplayer in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are online stores where you can purchase your own Pokémon. In battles with other Pokémon masters, players’ Pokémon will be side by side. Pokémon can be obtained by trading or actual capture. Five new Pokémon have been introduced in this game: Koraidon, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Miraidon. Moreover, you can also play the game with your friends.
You and your friends can become a team and have the ultimate adventures of your lives in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Also, you can do Tera Raids together, complete missions, do combats side by side, and much more!

How to Play Multiplayer
You can create a group of four people maximum. To play multiplayer, you may follow the steps below:
Unlock
You will have to unlock the multiplayer feature to play multiplayer. Play as the story mode goes, and you will automatically visit your first Pokémon Center, and there you will have an automatically unlocked multiplayer feature.
Union Circle
Visit the Union Circle and invite 3 of your friends maximum to join your team. Go to the Main Menu and then click on Poké Portal feature. After that, connect with your friends by pressing ‘L’ on your keyboard.
You will see two types of options in Union Circle;
- Join a Group
- Form/Create a Group
Join A Group
If you want to join a group, you will have to go to the Union Circle, click on joining a group option, and put the invitation link in the box, and you will be automatically in your friend’s team.
Create A Group
To create a group, go to the Union Circle in the same process and click on create a group feature. Then press Yes to make your team.
You can play multiplayer in this way in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
