Recently, players have been receiving bans and unwanted suspensions for using “Andrew Tate” in their username in Apex Legends.

Andrew Tate has been a hot topic on social media recently. This former professional Kickboxer has lately been banned from different social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook for his frequently made misogynistic comments about females online.

Although Andrew Tate was banned from various social media platforms, people still use his name in games such as Apex Legends. However, EA is also not going to entertain anyone with the name Andrew Tate in Apex Legends or any EA-associated game.

Andrew Tate Username Banned in Apex

Players always use different names for celebrities, cartoons, and anime characters as their in-game names. It has been a pretty common thing in multiplayer gaming history. However, EA is banning and suspending people for using the name Andrew Tate in Apex Legends.

After Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, it seems like Andrew Tate does not have a place even in video games. Although, unlike Post Malone, Andrew Tate doesn’t seem to be a fan of video games. Regardless, EA will not have Andrew Tate’s name associated with Apex Legends.

Recently, a Reddit user named u/Jayjayhova shared EA’s Email on banning him for 7 days from Apex Legends for using “Andrew Tate” as his username. “This name breaks our Positive Play Charter because you may have used words or phrases that harm others or negatively disrupt the game.” EA responded in the Email.

So, if you are ever planning on using Andrew Tate’s name as your IGN as a joke, we recommend you not to, as you may get bans regardless of your actions. And, if you have previous suspension history, the ban may even last longer than 7 days.
