Embark Studios has issued a new ARC Raiders anti-cheat warning, telling players to secure every account connected to their Embark ID. The developer says that if another person gains access to a player’s account and is caught cheating, the original account could still be banned, even if the owner was not personally responsible for the cheating.
The warning arrived alongside Store Update 1.43.0 on August 25, as Embark continues expanding its efforts to combat cheating and account abuse in ARC Raiders.

ARC Raiders Players Are Responsible for Securing Linked Accounts
According to Embark, it does not necessarily matter whether someone gained access to your account with or without permission. If that account is subsequently used for cheating and detected by the game’s anti-cheat systems, enforcement could still affect the account itself.
Embark recommends that players use a strong and unique password, enable two-factor authentication whenever possible, and never share their login credentials with anyone.
Embark Continues Expanding ARC Raiders Anti-Cheat Measures
The warning is the latest step in Embark’s broader effort to strengthen fair play in ARC Raiders. Earlier in July, the studio confirmed that Denuvo Anti-Cheat had been rolled out to all players. Embark has also been working with Anybrain while improving hardware detection, software detection, and machine learning-based telemetry analysis.
More recently, Embark said improvements made alongside Anybrain and Denuvo Anti-Cheat had allowed it to take action against a large number of accounts using popular cheating software. The developer is also working on measures designed to make it harder for repeat cheaters to simply create or obtain new accounts.
Losing an account because somebody else accessed it and cheated could potentially mean losing your progression, purchases, and access to the game. And with Embark tightening enforcement, sharing accounts or leaving linked accounts poorly secured is becoming an increasingly risky choice.
