Aceu got a glitch in the game that gave him the best pay-to-win R99 skin. Unfortunately, it didn’t last very long.

Apex Legends offers its players a bunch of legends and weapon skins, charms, and more. Among them, weapon and legend skins are the most exquisite and practical as they are easily visible in the game.

However, even among the Legendary weapon skins, some skins are more sought after than their alternatives. These skins are preferred primarily because of their clean iron sights in the game. They are also sometimes referred to as “pay to win” skins because they provide a significant advantage over regular iron sights.

Aceu’s Pay-to-Win R99 Skin

After a two-month break, Aceu is finally back at Apex Legends. This is the first time he played since Season 14 went live. A lot has changed since he left, and he wasn’t prepared for this specific skin upgrade in the game.

Aceu was playing Pubs and seemed to be having a lot of fun. While playing on Storm point, he wiped a squad and found a Gold R99 on a deathbox. Unsurprisingly, he picked it up, changed the skin, and found himself in disbelief after watching the ironsight.

“WTF! Wait, the R9(9), they changed the ironsight! It’s more pay-to-win. Wait, chat, wtf happened?” Aceu thought Respawn changed the Season 7 Battle Pass reactive R99 skins and made the ironsight cleaner than before.

He switched to the other gun, looted some more stuff, and switched to R99 again to appreciate the ironsight just to find out it was gone. “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I had the best bug in the world, and now it’s unbugged.”

Aceu realized it was just a bug and not a change made by Respawn. Nonetheless, it seemed like a slick ironsight for R99, and it would be exciting to see Respawn adding a feature for custom ironsights in Apex Legends, just like Reticles and Laser Sights in the future.
