Patch 10.20 is going to put both Sion and Urgot into the Jungle list while champions like Nunu and Karthus are getting nerfs.
At the start of season 10, Riot brought some major changes to the Jungle. First, they updated the jungle XP from the camps and later tried to extend the jungle champ pool by giving the ability to jungle to champions like Talon, Zed, Darius, and others. However, the attempt didn’t go as planned since most of them were having win rates below 45%.
And now, League of Legends’ lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter has previewed the upcoming patch 10.20 where they are bringing in Sion and Urgot into their new jungle list. Moreover, both Nunu and Karthus will be getting nerfs in patch 10.20 as well.
Karthus Nerf Patch 10.20
- Armor: 20.88 >>> 18
- HP regen: 6.5 >>> 6
Karthus recently received some major buffs on patch 10.14, which resulted in him being the highest win rate champion in four different roles. Riot however reduced his AP ratio on patch 10.16. But apparently it seems like, he is back into the nerf list once again.
Currently, on patch 10.19, he still has a 52.11% win rate while having a 4.4% pick rate in Plat+ Elo. Furthermore, he also has an astonishing 55.09%, 56.38%, and 54.83% win rate respectively in Master+, Grandmaster, and Challenger according to u.gg. Hence, Riot is nerfing him in patch 10.20.
Nunu Nerf Patch 10.20
- Armor: 32 >>> 29
With the help of recent buffs on patch 10.13 and Phase Rush, Nunu & Willump is currently dominating the soloq. Currently, on patch 10.19, Nunu has a massive 53.12% win rate in the Jungle while having a 7% pick rate.
His win rate in Challenger is quite astonishing as well. Moreover, he was also having one of the highest win rates for the last couple of patches as well. Therefore, Riot is nerfing him in patch 10.20.
Sion Jungle Buff

Urgot Jungle Buff
