Two of the meta junglers are getting nerfs on patch 10.16 while Hecarim will taste some buffs on patch 10.16.

League of Legends’ lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter previewed the summer playoffs and worlds patch 10.16 today. And it seems like meta junglers like Karthus and Kha’Zix are getting nerfs on patch 10.16 and the only jungler to receive buff is Hecarim.

All these changes will hit PBE soon and will go live on August 5, 2020, patch 10.16.

Karthus Nerf Patch 10.16

  • Q AP ratio: 35% >>> 30%

Karthus has to be the most broken champion in League of Legends at this moment. Just with the recent buff on patch 10.14, he currently has the highest win rate in Mid, Jungle, and in Bot lane while also having one of the highest win rates in the Top lane as well.

As patch 10.16 will be focusing on the 2020 summer playoffs and worlds, if Karthus go into the patch untouched he will unquestionably become one of the most picked champions. Thus, Riot is planning to gut some of his strengths in patch 10.16.

Kha’Zix Nerf Patch 10.16

  • Q Isolation bonus damage: 120% >>> 110% total AD

Kha’Zix is one of the meta jungle picks in League of Legends patch 10.15. With the recent buff on patch 10.14, his win rate jumped to 52% from 50% and he currently also has around 20% ban rate. He is also getting picked on the pro plays as well, therefore, Riot is planning to take some of his stats back on patch 10.16.

Hecarim Buff Patch 10.16

  • E Movement speed: 25-75% >>> 25-100% over 3 seconds

Hecarim has been out of the meta for quite some time now. Even with the buff on patch 10.6 and 10.11, his pick rate didn’t improve what so ever. As a result, Riot is planning to buff him once again on patch 10.16.
