Turrets are getting some massive changes in Patch 13.23.

League of Legends as a game is constantly evolving. Riot Games, the developer of the League of Legends, regularly makes changes to the game to keep it fresh and exciting. These changes come in Patches, which are introduced every fourteen days. But the bulk of the changes that the game receives come at the end of the year in the form of Preseason.

Furthermore, Season 13 is nearing its end, and we have a lot of changes in store before the start of the new season in January. Since we will not be getting a preseason period this year, the bulk Preseason of the changes will be coming in the last two patches, Patch 13.23 and Patch 13.24.

That said, one of the main Preseason changes has already been revealed: the Turret changes. In Patch 13.23, Riot will be changing the gold distribution of Inner and Inhibitor turrets.

Patch 13.23 Turret Changes

Here are all the Turret changes coming in Patch 13.23,

  • Mid Inner Turret gold: 300 local + 50 global -> 425 local + 25 global
  • Side lane Inner Turret gold: 550 local + 50 local -> 675 local + 25 global
  • Inhibitor Turret gold: 50 local + 50 global -> 375 local + 25 global

Mid and Side Lane Inner and Inhibitor Turret local gold is going up significantly, while global gold is being nerfed. The total gold will remain the same as before.

These are some big changes, especially for Split-Pushers. Champions like Jax, Camille, and Fiora will be much better, and there will be more incentive to get the second Rift Herald. However, these changes will hit the Support gold generation pretty hard.

Release Date

The aforementioned Turret changes will shipped to the live servers Patch 13.23, which will arrive on Tuesday, November 21, 2023,
