The Season 13 Ranked Split 2 will be extended by a few months, according to Riot.
The Ranked mode is an essential component of the League of Legends ecosystem. It is what motivates a lot of players to keep playing the game. Whether to reach the highest rank possible, AKA Challenger, or play for the rewards, there’s no denying that players like to play Ranked.
So, to bring the players more Ranked and more rewards for playing Ranked, Riot, earlier in Season 13, implemented a new ranked system. Riot divided the ranked season into two parts, Split 1 and Split 2. After each Split, each player’s rank is soft reset and is given rewards based on their rank.
That said, Split 1 of Season 13 started on January 10th and ended on July 17th, 2023. And with Split 2 beginning on July 19th, 2023, the question arises: When does Ranked Split 2 end?

When does Split 2 end?
Originally, Season 13 Ranked Split 2 was supposed to end around November 20th, but recently, Riot extended the Split by about a month and a half.
In a recent Dev Blog, Riot announced that they would extend Split 2 to January 3rd. The reason for this change is due to Riot’s removal of Preseason. From Season 14 onwards, there will no longer be a Preseason, and each season will have three splits.
Split 1 of Season 14 will begin on January 9th; Split 2 will start in May, and finally, Split 3 in September.
