Riot has now officially revealed all the champions coming in the upcoming Legends of Runeterra expansion, Darkin Saga: World Ender.
A couple of months earlier, Riot released the Awakening expansion, the first part of the overwhelming Darking Saga special expansion.
In the Awakening expansion, we saw the release of five new champions: Kayn, Jax, Master Yi, Ornn, and the LoR exclusive champion, Norra. Moreover, a new event, Corrupted 2022, was also released. This event came with the Corrupted Targon skin set. This skin set was one of the best ones released in Legends of Runeterra.
After the release of the Awakening expansion, Riot revealed in their roadmap that there would be two other expansions released, Domination and Finale.
Domination, the subsequent expansion, introduced three new champions. These champions are Varus, Vayne, and Seraphine. In addition, Riot also released a new event, Archlight 2022. And even though we didn’t get any expansion in November due to the Legends of Runeterra Worlds Championship taking place simultaneously, we received a massive balance update as patch 3.19.0.
As the Finale of the Darkin Saga is on the horizon, players are hoping that Riot will end the expansion on a high note. Moreover, Riot revealed In their roadmap that three new champions would be released in the upcoming expansion.
After the anticipation, Riot officially revealed all the cards coming in the upcoming expansion, World Ender.

New Champions LoR World Ender
Riot revealed 3 champions coming to Legends of Runeterra in the Darkin Saga: World Ender expansion. They are,
- Aatrox
- Kayle
- Ryze
Aatrox
Aatrox is a Runeterran Darkin, similar to Kayn and Varus. Moreover, in Legends of Runeterra, he has a unique level-up mechanic, where he has to play World Ender to level up. The World Ender is Aatrox’s 13-cost spell card with slow keywords, which reduces Aatrox’s cost by 1 each time an equipped or a Darkin ally has struck in this game. Moreover, it also assimilates allies equipped with Darkin.

- Origin: The World Ender
- The World Ender: You may put any non-Champion Darkin during deck building. Once you have summoned 3+ different other Darkins, draw an Aatrox.
- Equipment: The Darkin Blade
- The Darkin Scythe: Attack: Grant The Darkin Blade +1|+1
- When I’m summoned or strike: Heal your Nexus 2 and create a World Ender in hand if you don’t have one.
- Level-up condition: You have played World Ender.

- Keywords: Overwhelm
- Equipment: The Darkin Blade
- The Darkin Scythe: Attack: Grant The Darkin Blade +1|+1

Ryze
Ryze is also a Runeterran champion, similar to Aatrox. Furthermore, Ryze uses the new World Rune landmark cards to dominate the fight.

- Level-up condition: I see 3+ World Runes.

Similar to Diana, Kayle is a 6-cost champion from Targon. Moreover, Kayle can scale her damage infinitely whenever her allies get damaged.

- Empowered 6: Quick Attack
- When I’m summoned: Grand other allies +1|+0
