Released in 2008, League of Legends is one of the most popular titles in the market. Since its release, the game has garnered millions of players from around the world and is continuously growing to this day. The reason behind its massive popularity and growth is its impressive roster of champions. Each of the champions in the game has a unique set of skills and play styles that add variety to the game.
Currently, League of Legends has over 160 champions. In 2023 alone, Riot released three new champions to the game. They are also planning to release more before the end of 2023.
In March of this year, Riot released this year’s first champion, Milio, The Gentle Flame, a support champion from the region of Ixtal. After that, we got the Darksin Assassin, Naafiri: The Hound of a Hundred Bites and recently, vampire champion Briar, The Restrained Hunger. And the last champion we will receive this year will be an Ioninan Ink Mage named Hwei.
