As the anticipated summer 2023 event is on the horizon, some leaks have revealed information about the upcoming skins.
During every huge event, Riot makes skin lines and unique thematic to amplify the excitement behind it. For example, recently, they released the Inkshadow skins, a skin line themed after the MSI 2023 event.
Since the start of this year, Riot has been hyping up the summer event. This summer event would be unlike what we received before.
In prior years, the summer events were relatively stale. We mostly received a high amount of skins with minimal side contents. And if there were side contents, they were visual novels and tedious event passes.
But this year, the summer event will be different. Firstly, we will receive a new game mode with a new map in this event. Moreover, we are also receiving a new skin rarity, which would be higher than legendary but lower than ultimate.
One of the prominent League of Legends leakers, Big Bad Bear, has revealed information about the upcoming summer 2023 event skin line, Soul Fighters.

Summer 2023 Skins: Soul Fighters
As stated before, the name of the 2023 summer event skins is Soul Fighters. Moreover, this skin line might contain 10 or more skins since it will be a huge event.
The leaker has also revealed the lore about the skin. To sum it up, it will be a tournament-style skin, where each champion has their own type of power called “Soul Power.” And the tournament winner will be granted a shard of the “Soul Gem.” This Soul Gem can grant a single wish to those who possess it.
Judging from the lore, it looks like Riot is tying up the lore with the upcoming game mode, which also appears to be a similar tournament factor. Moreover, this skin line will also have a skin from the legendary+ skin tier.
As for which champions would appear in this skin line, that is not yet revealed. But we will figure them out very soon.
Release Date
The Soul Fighters skins are expected to release around patch 13.13, scheduled to release on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
