In the upcoming mid-season update, Riot will rework Navori Quickblades into a mythic item.

Since last season Riot has been putting a lot of effort into the mid-season changes. Usually, before the start of a season, Riot holds a preseason to test out all the changes coming to the season. These changes could range from item to complete mechanic changes. Moreover, during the preseason, the ranked statistics are not s so that, so players can try out the changes without any downsides.

Other than preseason, Riot also makes massive changes to the game during the mid-season updates. The mid-season update usually occurs around the 10th patch of the year. Additionally, the update aims to implement changes that were supposed to happen during preseason or fix the problems after the season started.

Last season we received the durability patch as the mid-season update. This update increased all champions’ base health pool and balanced the game around them. Overall, the update was a success as it fixed many problems that appeared until then.

And for this mid-season, we are receiving a similarly sized update. Riot announced last week that a huge itemization change is coming this preseason.

These itemization changes include many mythic items demoted to legendary and many legendary items promoted to mythic. One of the items promoted to mythic is Navori Quickblades.
