LoL 2v2v2v2 Arena Specific Champion Changes

As the upcoming Arena game mode is right around the corner, here are all the champion changes for this game mode.

Earlier this year, Riot has been teasing a new game mode for League of Legends. Though, at the time, we didn’t know much about it. The only thing we knew for sure was that it would be in 2v2v2v2 format with a separate map.

But last month, Riot fully unveiled Arena game mode. As stated before, the format will be 2v2v2v2, with its own map. Additionally, for extra game mechanics, this mode will contain augments and champion cameos.

Even though this game mode was not out on live servers, Riot released it on PBE earlier so players could try out the game mode. The aim was that the mode would be as bug-free and balanced as possible.

Initially, during the start of the PBE, there weren’t any Arena-specific changes. However, it proved to be an unbalanced nightmare, as some champions like Taric or Kayle dominated each match. Due to it, around the second week, Riot pushed an arena-specific balance update.

As the PBE has ended, the developers have decided to balance even more champions. So here are all the champion-specific changes for the Arena game mode.

Arena Champion Changes

Annie:

  • +5% damage taken
  • -5% damage dealt

Akali:

  • Q Base Damage: 40-140 >>> 50-150
  • W has +30 Ability Haste

Akshan:

  • Killing the scoundrel grants both Akshan and his teammate 200g, and revives his teammate at 33% health.

Aphelios:

  • Max ammo reduced to 30

Aurelion Sol:

  • Gains 250 stack over 8 rounds.

Bard:

  • Chimes Spawn Rapidly During Combat

Bel’Veth:

  • Gains 60 stacks over 8 rounds.

Cassiopia:

  • Can buy 2 Guardian items

Cho’Gath:

  • Gains 8 stacks over 8 rounds

Corki:

  • Spawns package every round starting at level 6

Draven:

  • Catching an axe grants Draven 8 adoration stacks, and catching an enemy Draven’s axe grants 40. Draven gets 100 passive stacks per round.

Fiora:

  • -5% Damage dealt

Gangplank:

  • Q: 7% of damage to champions is also given to GP as gold and silver serpents.
  • Gains 1500 Serpents over 8 rounds

Garen:

  • Gains 150 stacks over 8 rounds

Gnar:

  • Gains 50% more fury

Gragas:

  • E CD refund 3s >>> 1s

Heimerdinger:

  • Q Base Damage: 7-23 >>> 6-18
  • Q Base Damage Beam: 40-120 >>> 30-90
  • RQ Base Damage: 80-120 >>> 70-100
  • RQ Base Damage Beam: 100-180 >>> 90-160

Irelia:

  • R reduces Q CD by an additional 1s

Jhin:

  • Q Base Damage: 45-145 >>> 65-245
  • Q AD Ratio: .35-65 >>>.6-1.0
  • R Base Damage: 50-200 >>> 100-400

Kayle:

  • R has -50 Ability Haste
  • E On-hit Base Damage: 15:35 >>> 10-30
  • E Execute: 8-10% >>> 6.5-8.5%
  • P 30 passive stacks per round >>> 25 R damage
  • R Slayer Max HP Base Damage: 15% >>> 10%
  • R Slayer Max HP Damage per 100 AD: 13% >>> 8%

Kindred:

  • Gains 8 stacks over 8 rounds

Kog’Maw:

  • -5% Damage Dealt

Nasus:

  • Gains 400 stacks over 8 rounds

Nunu:

  • Q Base Heal: 65-185 >>> 85-285
  • Q Heal is no longer reduced against champions.
  • Q Champion Base Damage: 60-220 >>> 100-340

Pyke:

  • Gains 20 Ability Haste
  • Q Base Damage: 100-300 >>> 140-420
  • Executes grant either Pyke or his teammate 600g
  • R damage if execute threshold misses: 50% >>> 80%
  • Passive Gray health: 40% >>> 60%

Senna:

  • Gains 60 stacks over 8 rounds

Shaco:

  • W fear duration: 0.5-1.5s >>> 0.5-1s

Shyvana:

  • Gains 8 Stacks over 8 rounds
  • -5% Damage dealt

Sion:

  • Gains 800 stacks over 8 rounds

Sona:

  • Gains 100 stacks over 8 rounds

Swain:

  • Gains 40 stacks over 8 rounds

Sylas:

  • Ult lockout debuff is removed after each round

Syndra:

  • P 15 stacks per round >>> 10 stacks per round

Taric:

  • Q Base heal 25 >>> 20
  • Q Heal AP Ratio 0.15 >>> 0.1
  • Q Heal HP Ratio 0.1 >>> 0.075
  • E Has -30 ability haste

Teemo:

  • R Slow: 30/40/50% >>> 20/30/40%
  • R Total Damage: 200/325/450 (+55% AP) >>> 150/250/350 (+45% AP)

Tresh:

  • Gains 90 stacks over 8 rounds

Twisted Fate:

  • Randomly 2-8% of damage to champions is also given to TF as gold

Twitch:

  • -5% damage dealt

Veigar:

  • Gains 100 stacks over 8 rounds

Viktor:

  • Gains 25 stacks per round

Yorick

  • Q now spawns a grave in a random area within 600 range every 6 seconds.

Yasuo:

  • Passive Shield value increased by 30%
  • E Base Damage: 60-100 >>> 75-135

Zac:

  • Ring of fire damages passive blobs.
