As the upcoming Arena game mode is on the horizon, here is the list of all the cameos that appear on the map.
It has been a long time since Riot released a new and unique game mode in League of Legends. The last time Riot released a proper new game mode was with Nexus Blitz in 2019. Even then, it was a temporary mode that never came back afterward.
However, since early this year, the developers have been teasing a new game mode coming to the game. With each tease, players were rightfully getting excited about this new game mode. And recently, Riot has fully revealed this new game mode called Arena.
Arena is a 2v2v2v2 game mode that takes place on different maps. This game mode perfectly mixes the gameplay of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics. Additionally, this mode takes place in rounds. Each round, players either gain gold or augments. With golds, players can purchase items similar to normal League of Legends. And for augments, players can gain game-changing buffs that can fundamentally change how players can play the champions.
Besides augments, there is another mechanic exclusive to Arena. That mechanic is Champion Cameos.

Arena: All Champion Cameos
Champion Cameos are random events that occur during the start of a round. In these rounds, there will be the neutral champion that will appear on the map. And depending on the champion, they will do different things. Here is the list of all possible cameos currently in the game.
- Samira
- Sett
- Naafiri
- Pyke
- Lux
Samira
When Samira appears, she will be a neutral untargetable unit. She will combo off players’ crowd controls. Additionally, she will cast her ultimate once her combo meter reaches S.
Sett
Similar to Samira, Sett will also be a neutral unit. However, he will be targetable and have a flat health bar. Initially, Sett won’t attack any players. But once his health diminishes to zero, Sett will cast his W – Haymaker at the enemy of whoever last hits.
Naafiri
Naafiri and her pack will patrol an area. There will be a vision cone over her head. If a player gets spotted in that vision cone, Naafiri and her pack will attack that spotted player.
Pyke
Pyke will also be an untargetable unit. But instead of directly attacking players, he will cast his E – Phantom Undertow at one of the furthest enemies.
Lux
Lux will spawn right around the middle of the map. During her cameo, at the start of the match, there will be a laser tripwire that will rotate around her. When a player trips the laser, she will cast her R – Final Spark at that player.
