League of Legends Patch 11.6 is going to feature massive Akali and Xin Zhao changes along with the healing item nerfs.

Ever since the 2021 preseason went live, Riot has had a hard time balancing out all the new Mythic and revamped items. Even though Riot has already pushed multiple balance updates and hotfixes, there are always a few items and champions that escape the nerf list and terrorize the Summoner’s Rift.

This time, for patch 11.6, Riot is nerfing all the healing items along with Sterak’s Gage and Void Staff. On the other hand, Riot is buffing Smite and Gromp’s XP as the recent jungle XP nerf shook the jungle meta.

Furthermore, LoL patch 11.6 is also going to introduce the Xin Zhao rework with the new W->E combo, while Akali is scheduled to receive massive changes as well.

League of Legends Gameplay Design Director Mark “Scruffy” Yetter has previewed League of Legends patch 11.6 today, and here’s everything you need to know about the patch notes.
