League of Legends’ end of the year Prestige Shop is opening up in patch 10.25 with the new Battle Queen Diana Prestige edition skin.
Prestige skins are limited-edition items that are only obtainable with Prestige Points or tokens from in-game events. While the 2020 Prestige point skins were purchasable at any point of the year, the event exclusive skins were only available for a limited amount of time.
However, during this 2020 End of Year Prestige Shop period, League of Legends players will be able to buy any Prestige skin that came out in 2020 along with some extra items purchasable with Prestige points.
End of Year Prestige Shop Start and End Date
According to Riot Games, the End of Year Prestige Shop is going to start from patch 10.25, Dec 10, 2020. And the shop going to end on Jan 28, 2021.

In patch 10.25, Riot is going to release the Battle Queen Diana Prestige edition skin but it will not be available in the Prestige Shop.
“Diana’s Event Prestige won’t be available for Prestige Points in the End of Year shop since she’ll be available for event tokens for most of the duration. She’ll be available for Prestige Points in the mid-year shop,” Riot on Diana’s Prestige edition skin.

- 3 skin shards of the same tier:
- 30% chance for 750 tier
- 30% chance for 975 tier
- 30% chance for 1350 tier
- 10% chance for 1820 tier
- 1050 Orange Essence
- Gemstone and Mythic Skin permanent drop rates multiplied by 1.5

According to Riot Games, around the middle of 2021, they are streamlining the rules around rare and exclusive content, which will include retiring the Prestige Points.
Furthermore, once the mid-year shop closes, all the 2020 and 2021 Event Prestige and Prestige Point skins will also become unavailable. And in the mid-year update, Riot will announce their new “model”.
