League of Legends’ upcoming new champion, Gwen, has already received some notable buffs on patch 11.8 PBE.
After many speculations, Riot Games has officially unveiled League of Legends 155th champion Gwen. She is currently on the League PBE, and only the players who have a PBE account have access to play her right now.
Even though the player base is still very small and most of the players don’t know how to play her yet, players are giving a mixed response to her balanced state. Some players believe she is still “mediocre” and needs time to adjust. On the other hand, a lot of players think her passive felt “super underwhelming,” and her ultimate did little to no damage in the early game.

Now, just after one day of being on PBE, Riot has pushed some notable buffs to her kit in the latest LoL patch 11.8 PBE update.
Gwen Buffs
- Base armor increased from 34 to 37
- A Thousand Cuts (Passive) damage AP increased from .006% to .008%
- Needlework (R) base damage increased from 20/50/80 to 30/55/80
All these changes are still on PBE for testing, and it is still uncertain whether they will be pushed into the live servers or not.
