Alexandre “gAuLeS” Borba was a former CSGO pro who recently faced a lot of backlash from the whole CSGO community as he accused a minor CSGO player Leaf of allegedly cheating in an online tournament.

All this began back last month when Chaos beat MIBR on cs_summit 6 North America Regional qualifier tournament. Later some notable figures in the Brazilian esports scene started to suspect leaf who is a professional CSGO player for team Chaos of cheating in that particular match to gain some sorts of advantage in the game. And Guales was one of the most outspoken ones from the bunch.

Furthermore, some Brazilian fans started to send death threats to leaf who is still a teenager as of now. Additionally, Guales even doubled down on his claims that leaf is cheating and implied that leaf is really bad at the game in a recent tweet. Consequently, some notable figures in the CSGO community like Thorin and Dev1ce called Guales out for spreading unnecessary toxicity towards a minor without any solid evidence.

Guales finally apologized

After facing some retaliation from the whole CSGO community, Guales finally apologized to the whole CSGO scene. And he even deleted the tweets that started all the mess.

If my attitude generated a negative reaction that made someone upset, I come here to apologize and reinforce: we should never, under any circumstances, have any kind of behavior towards someone that we would not like to receive“, Guales on the recent incidents.

In his response, he explained that we all should move forward from this to create a less toxic community in the future. Furthermore, he claimed that he really learned from his past mistakes and will try to do better in the future.

The whole community just wants to move on from all the drama over a match that happened a long time ago. This whole thing with the Brazilian CSGO community and team Chaos was just unfortunate. Fans from both sides of the aisle said some things that they should have avoided. Since Guales apologized publicly, the CSGO community should move on to create a less toxic community in the future.
