What is Muspelheim Seed in God of War Ragnarok
Muspelheim, being the Realm of Fire, is also the origin of the Fire giant, Surtr. Alone he will bring down Ragnarok, prophesized by Nordic Mythology. But before that, Kratos and Atreus can visit this realm to test their abilities to prepare themselves for the very last day. There will be time challenges, flawless and special challenges.
And with all that, you must first set your foot in the Fire Realm, Muspelheim. You need to find two halves of Muspelheim seed on your journey in God of War Ragnarok to get access. Even though the first one appears quite early, the second half appears much later in the game. So, sit tight, and learn about the Muspelheim Realm pass.
Where to find the Muspelheim Seed in God of War Ragnarok
To ease your expansion, the first catch is, both halves of the seed are in Svartalfheim. This is the Realm of the Dwarves, which you have come across while on the path to free Tyr. Now, let’s get the whole seed.
The First Muspelheim Seed
Assume you are in the Svartalfheim. You are set to roam in the Bay of Bounty. Now, you will come across Modvitnir’s Rig to the west part of the bay. Dock your boat there.
On your arrival, look for the high platform on your right side. You will soon notice that there is a legendary chest. However, to get there, you need to clear some wretches on the way.
Now, climb up to the right. After that, you will see a spinning lever. Instinct will tell you to throw your ax, and you cannot un-listen to that. The lever will unlock the gate to that platform.
However, there will be another wave of wretches on top of that. Clear out the zone, and the legendary chest is yours to take. And there you go, you now have the first half of the Muspelheim seed in God of War Ragnarok.
The Second Muspelheim Seed
As I have mentioned, the second half is also in the Svartalfheim. However, to get it, you must proceed through the story quite a lot. And that is, mate, until Chapter 10 ends. As completing this chapter will give you access to explore new areas.
Now, the second half of the seed is at Dragon Beach. You will find it in the eastern part of the Bay of Bounty. But before that, you have to sail back into the Bay of Bounty when you leave the Mystic Gateway after completing Chapter 10.
With that ensuring, You will notice the giant Dwarf statue on Dragon Beach. Dock your boat and get off. You will have to clear the zone first.
After that, look out for a large wooden scaffolding on your left. You will notice a chain to climb up with. On the top, you will see a wind vent. With the new weapon you acquired from the last chapter, you can swing to the platform directly above you.
Climbing up, you will meet with a spirit of an Elder Wayfarer. He will give you a Favor, The Lost Treasure. He will also mention another treasure to acquire.
After that, look out for the broken wooden bridge above you. Cross it to the other side. Your “companion” will reveal a chest at a point. From there, head to the left. This is the Alberich’s Hollow. Head to the tunnel, and on your way, clear out some grims. However, there will also be a Bersgra that might make you sweat.
Clearing out the zone, you will notice the Legendary chest on the right covered in debris. Clear it out, and get the second half of the Muspelheim seed.
You now have both halves of the seed. You can now travel to the Crucible in Muspelheim to test your abilities through various challenges.
And that is all I had for the Muspelheim seed in God of War Ragnarok. Prosst!
