Everyone’s favorite God of War is finally back. And just like in God of War 4, Kratos can do plenty of favors for people across the realms this time as well. Favors are simply the side quests available for you to do in the game. Since Ragnarok offers a vast open world and lets you freely roam across the realms, you’ll have the opportunity to help people in every landmark you visit.

In addition to the 13 main quests, there are also 47 Favors or side-quests for you to do in God of War: Ragnarok. And completing them is necessary if you aim to score that Platinum trophy. Having said that, none of these side quests are missable, as you can also do them post-game.
However, certain area-specific side quests or Favors are only unlocked after progressing the story enough. So, you’ll often find yourself returning to a location to finish the remaining side quests of that region.
Luckily, God of War: Ragnarok lets you keep track of all your side quests and their progress, which you can access by pressing your touchpad and selecting “Favors” under the “Goals” section.
