Finding the Helios Flare Runic Attack in God of War: Ragnarok

Helios Flare is hidden away in a legendary chest on a ledge in the Vanaheim region. If you’re not into exploring with a keen eye, you can easily miss it.
During “The Reckoning,” after defeating Fiske in The Abandoned Village, you will come across a crane similar to that you have to use before the Fiske battle. You can also see the legendary chest sitting on a faraway ledge. You can figure out that you need to use the crane to reach there, but the crane is being obstructed and hence, cannot be rotated.

Instead of using the crane as soon as you see it to progress to another area, look towards the right to find a cave lit up with a torch. Head inside and destroy the pillar that blocks the crane. The crane is now easily rotatable with a throw of your Leviathan Axe toward the chest’s platform.

Head back and rotate the crane. So that the mark for swinging across is between you and the ledge, use the Blades of Chaos to swing across and land on the platform. Open the legendary chest to find the awaited Helios Flare Runic Attack.
Congratulations, you have expanded the moveset and abilities for your mighty Blades of Chaos through this Light Runic Attack. Let’s see what it does and how powerful it can become.
