Apex Legends new collection event called “Lost Treasure” is now live and it comes with some amusing looking skins for legends like Wraith, Revenant, etc.

While the skins are looking great, they introduced us to new hitbox issues in the game. After the event launched and players had the opportunity to buy Wraith’s new skin called “marble goddess“, players started to see something strange in the game. As it turns out, players who were equipped with wraith’s new marble goddess skin were immune to headshots.

Apparently the whole skin had broken hitboxes that made her really difficult to hit. And it didn’t take too long for clips like these to make their way on the internet. Players were flooding every social media platform to let Respawn know about this bug. Furthermore, the Apex community was furious with Respawn as the skin kind of broke the game for many players.

A fix is coming very soon!

After all the public outcry, Respawn finally acknowledged the issue and they are currently working to provide a fix as soon as possible.

The new event also came with a lot of new buffs and nerfs/rework to some of our beloved Legends in the game. These changes were so significant that they literally changed how we play Apex Legends. Characters like Revenant, Octane, Lifeline, Wraith either received some straight-up buffs or total rework to how some of their abilities work.

With the new changes, the lobbies are now more diverse than ever before. Some players are even comparing the current lobby with the old day one lobby in Apex. Hero diversity and balance are at an all-time high right now. However, the competitive scene is not that different after the update.

Although the update is still relatively new. Therefore there is still a lot of time left for pro players to experiment and figure out what the next meta might be.
