Crafting can look intimidating in Cyberpunk 2077. This guide can help you to learn how to craft Cyberpunk 2077.

If you want to survive Night City and the Eddies to be a major league player, you will need to have the best gear available. And CD Projekt Red didn’t back out when it came to giving options to do so.

Crafting is a big part of Cyberpunk 2077, and if you haven’t utilized it already, then you are missing out on a lot of important features that the game offers.

For beginners, the crafting menu can seem quite intimidating, especially if you aren’t familiar with crafting menus from other AAA titles. But once you get the hang of it, you will be spending a lot of your time crafting the perfect weapon and armor for yourself.

So, without further ado, let’s dive in, shall we?

How to Craft in Cyberpunk 2077?

To access the crafting menu, you can press the designated crafted key bind or just go to the character main menu (this is the menu where you can access the inventory, map, journal, and such) and select crafting.

Doing this will open up a list of weapons and armor you can craft. Their rarity will also be showcased on the screen. To craft the item of your desire, you will need to check if the item is blurred or not. If it is, then that means you don’t have the necessary components, specs, or materials to craft the item.

Moreover, your engineering and crafting skills will also come into play for more advanced item crafting; this is also true for weapon upgrading.

To find the necessary materials/specs, you have two options: either pick them up throughout the night city or visit junk shop vendors. You can find specs when you complete missions and favors. Just make sure to loot everything, and you will have nothing to worry about.

Upgrade Your Gear

Next to the crafting tab, you will also see the upgrade tab. Here, you can upgrade weapons to match your level. This means you won’t have to get rid of a weapon or armor you picked in the early game just because its level and DPS/protection are now low.

Just find the necessary materials and specs, and you should be able to upgrade an existing weapon or armor.
