Forza Horizon 6 is not just about cruising through Japan, collecting dream cars, and chasing the next big race. Like every Horizon game, it also gives completionists a long checklist to work through, and this time the base game achievement list is built around festival progression, exploration, car collecting, stories, showcases, multiplayer touches, and seasonal play.

At launch, Forza Horizon 6 features 57 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore. The list applies to the Xbox and PC versions, while the PlayStation 5 version is expected to follow later with equivalent trophies. Forza Horizon 6 launches on May 19, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with the PS5 version coming later in 2026.

Forza Horizon 6 Achievement List Explained

The achievement list in Forza Horizon 6 feels closely tied to the gameโ€™s new Japan setting and updated campaign structure. Instead of simply throwing players into the fastest cars right away, the game focuses more on festival progression, qualifiers, wristbands, stamps, and exploration.

There are also some longer completionist tasks. Players will need to collect 100 cars, win 57 Horizon Festival Race Events, reveal the full map, smash 200 Bonus Boards, smash 200 Regional Mascots, and earn all Festival Playlist points for a season. So while a good chunk of the list looks straightforward, getting the full 1,000 Gamerscore will still take time.

What Are the Hardest Forza Horizon 6 Achievements?

The hardest achievements in Forza Horizon 6 will probably come down to time rather than raw difficulty. Horizon Legend and Master Explorer are both worth 50 Gamerscore, making them two of the biggest single unlocks in the game. The Horizon Cartographer is also worth 50 Gamerscore and asks players to reveal the entire map.

Collector could also take a while since it requires 100 different cars. Meanwhile, Gotta Smash โ€™em All and A Few Splinters Is Nothing! will push players to hunt down 200 Regional Mascots and 200 Bonus Boards across the map. Those are the kind of achievements that usually become easier once community maps and guides start filling in the missing locations.

Forza Horizon 6 Has Fewer Annoying Launch Achievements

One nice detail for completionists is that Forza Horizon 6 does not appear to lean too heavily on frustrating online requirements at launch. All Things How notes that The Eliminator and Hide & Seek do not have launch achievements attached, and the old-style โ€œdrive every roadโ€ requirement is also absent. Instead, Forza Horizon 6 uses The Horizon Cartographer, which is tied to revealing the full map.

There are still seasonal and online touches, like Horizon Play levels, Festival Playlist points, and visiting another playerโ€™s Estate, but the list does not look overloaded with competitive multiplayer obligations.

Best Way to Start Unlocking Achievements in Forza Horizon 6

The best way to approach the Forza Horizon 6 achievement list is to focus on the main campaign first. The wristband achievements, qualifiers, opening act, race wins, Touge Battles, and showcase events should naturally come as players move through the festival structure. After that, it makes sense to clean up exploration, collectibles, PR Stunts, stories, and car collection goals.

Players chasing full completion should also keep an eye on seasonal content. Played-List requires all Festival Playlist points for a season, while Historic Effort is tied to earning a Series History reward. That means some progress may be time-sensitive depending on how the Festival Playlist is structured after launch.
