Collect all the coins in Cuphead The Delicious Last Course and unlock brand-new skills and items.
Cuphead’s new DLC, The Delicious Last Course, is an excellent add-on to the game, with new bosses and stages, which are tricker than before. Furthermore, there are also new weapons, charms, and supers to unlock. Allowing you to play the whole game with a fresh experience. To let you unlock the new equipment, you’ll need a whole lot of coins. Luckily, Cuphead The Delicious Course DLC has a fresh batch of coins waiting to be collected.
To be specific, Inkwell Isle IV has a total of 16 coins that have to be obtained by completing various tasks. The tasks range from exploring and talking to NPCs to completing challenges. Although it seems complex, collecting all the coins in Cuphead The Delicious Last Course is not difficult at all. It consumes a bit of time, requiring interaction with easily missable NPCs and secret paths. Hence, in this guide, we outline all the coin locations in Cuphead The Delicious Last Course.

Ms. Chalice Recipe
After you arrive at Inkwell Isle IV, head to the cart near Chef Saltbaker’s bakery. Equip the Astral Cookie and enter Ms. Chalice’s Recipe Book. The recipe book is a tutorial section for Ms. Chalice’s new moves. You will notice a Coin on the top right corner of the page; use combinations of Double Jump, Dash, and Parry to reach the coin. Congratulations, you now have your first coin from Cuphead’s DLC.
Town Square NPC
Talk to the NPC holding what looks like newspapers near the stone bridge. To make it easier to find him, he will be the first NPC you can talk to. Approach him, speak to him, and he will reward you with not one but three coins as a reward for your efforts. This is by far the easiest set of coins you can obtain in Inkwell Isle IV. Hard to miss.
Secret Path
The next coin is just past the stone bridge, where you receive three coins from the NPC thanking you. But the location is hard to detect and easily missable. Like many other secret locations and roads in Cuphead, your fourth coin is also found in a similar hidden path.
Cross the bridge and walk towards the three performing NPCs. Walk through the path between the three NPCs and Porkrind’s shop to enter a hidden area behind Saltbaker’s Bakery to pick up one coin.
The King’s Leap
The King’s Leap is a set of challenges, with each challenge having a theme of chess pieces. Each of the challenges tasks you with completing specific objectives only through parrying. You cannot use weapons, specials, or skills. The challenges start off easy but get tricky in the end. Although if you have a good knack for parrying, you can finish them in no time.
Completing each challenge gives you a few coins with a total of 11 if you manage to complete them all. The challenges are:
- The Pawns: Parry the head of the Pawns, when it comes to attack you. You will receive two coins.
- The Knight: Parry the Knight’s helmet when it starts to attack, notably the plume or feather at the top. You will receive two coins.
- The Bishop: Put out the candles to expose the Bishop’s head for parrying. You will receive two coins.
- The Rook: Parry the incoming projectiles that the Rook shoots and deflect them back towards it to defeat it. You will receive two coins.
- The Queen: Like the Rook, deflect the cannonball projectiles to deflect them back to The Queen to defeat it. Furthermore, the lion statues can be parried to protect yourself from damage. So you must parry the lions and the projectiles; this can get somewhat hectic. In the end, you will get three coins.
With the King’s Leap completed, you now have 16 coins to spend on brand new and unique skills and weapons in Cuphead The Delicious Last Course. Head to Porkrind’s Shop and get whatever you can. Don’t forget to test what you buy and formulate the perfect strategy.
