Cuphead returns with its cleverly named DLC, The Delicious Last Course. This time Cuphead and Mugman is tasked to bring back Ms. Chalice from the Astral Plane. The base game had an addicting but punishing gameplay, fun bosses, beautiful 1930s art, and cartoon themes. Likewise, the DLC brings it all back and even adds more challenging levels to shoot through. Even the seasoned players need to be on their toes at all times to pass the tricky stages of the Delicious Last Course.

How to Start Cuphead’s The Delicious Last Course
For New Game
After completing the tutorial, walk across the first bridge and talk to the apple to get three coins to purchase weapons and charms. On the other side of the bridge, you have the option to complete Clip Join Calamity or Forest Follies levels. We recommend completing Forest Follies as this is the first Run & Gun Challenge in the game.
To start, head to the white and red circle that looks like a target on the ground. Completing this might take several tries as the game is hard from the get-go with its tough bosses. After completing the challenge, a new bridge will appear with which you can head to the first Mausoleum. You need to beat the Mausoleum to activate the DLC.
Enter the Mausoleum and parry all the pink ghosts trying to reach the urn and free Ms. Chalice stuck in the spirit plane. She gives you a new power, the Energy Beam. Furthermore, you can also play as Ms. Chalice in the DLC. She offers abilities different from the other two characters, such as Dash Parry and an Invincibility Roll.
Head out to the overworld, and you will notice that a boatman awaits you, ready to take you to a new island to help the legendary Ms. Chalice. Accept his offer to travel to a new map and play the DLC’s creative levels and bosses to gather all the ingredients needed to rescue Ms. Chalice.
For Progressed/Completed Game
If you’re already progressed into the game or finished Cuphead’s base game, head to Inkwell Isle to help Ms. Chalice from the pink ghosts and unlock the boatman. You can find the boatman near all the Mausoleums.
Just talk to the boatman to head back to the base game map. You can use the new upgrades and powers unlocked from the DLC in the main game. Additionally, you can also play as Ms. Chalice along with Mugman and Cuphead in the base game. Adding further depth and playstyles to the main stages of the game. Hence, giving you a reason to try another playthrough of Cuphead, using the new abilities of all three characters.
