ARC Raiders Is Moving From Raider Decks to Reward Passes
According to the ARC Raiders team, players were accumulating enough Cred to finish newly released Raider Decks immediately. That stockpile made rewards less satisfying to earn and reduced the incentive to keep completing Feats.
Reward Passes are intended to give players a longer progression path. Each pass connects to the update it launches with, allowing players to unlock that update’s new content through gameplay.
Frozen Trail Reward Pass: Free Rewards and Premium Price
The Frozen Trail Reward Pass has 60 levels and two reward tracks.
The Free Pass includes all the new base outfits, cosmetic items, weapons, gadgets, other items, and up to 200 Raider Tokens. Players can earn the gameplay equipment through this track without purchasing Premium.
The Premium Pass costs 1,150 Raider Tokens. Its rewards include premium outfit toggles, modifications, colorways, exclusive legendary weapon stencils, and hairstyles. It also offers up to 1,150 Raider Tokens, meaning players who complete it can earn back its token cost.
Premium does not include gameplay-benefiting items such as weapons or gadgets. Those rewards belong to the Free track, keeping the paid pass focused on appearance and currency.
What Happens to Existing Raider Deck Rewards?
The Legacy Reward Pass is free and brings together the cosmetic rewards and Raider Tokens from the old Raider Decks.
Previously earned rewards remain unlocked. Players can then progress through the Legacy Pass to collect rewards they missed under the previous system.
What Does the Frozen Trail Collector Set DLC Include?
The Collector Set DLC bundles Frozen Trail Premium Reward Pass access with the Renzo cosmetic set, Dragon’s Breath Weapon Stencil, Bob Hair Style, and 2,400 Raider Tokens.
It also includes an exclusive Retro Sofa for the Raider Outpost. According to the announcement, the DLC is the only way to obtain the blueprint for the new Banjo musical instrument.
The Banjo blueprint is a separate Collector Set inclusion. Players comparing purchases should distinguish those DLC extras from the rewards offered by the Premium Pass itself.
