Apex Legends is getting another comic book adaptation Called “Overtime” following the success of Apex Legends: Pathfinder’s Quest comic.

Respawn really expanded upon the universe that they created initially for the Titanfall series with the introduction of Apex Legends. At its core Apex Legends is a character-based shooter. To properly flesh out these characters in a live service game, Respawn had to get creative with their storytelling. So, they decided to use amusing cinematic trailers to tell their stories.

Last year Respawn tried to redefine the battle royale genre by introducing quests into the game. Subsequently, a fully colored comic book featuring the origin story of pathfinder was released in collaboration with Dark Horse Comic.

Now, they partnered with Dark Horse Comic once again to bring fans another look at the colorful world of the Titanfall universe with a new comic called Apex Legends: Overtime.

The basic premise of this whole story is that the legends will have to come together to rescue the city from Mad Scientists, brutal assassins, and the sudden and sinister grip of the Syndicate, a corrupt cabal attempting to ”fix” arena outcomes in their favor.

Apex Legends: Overtime release date:

Apex Legends: Overtime #1 will be available on June 2nd. Additionally, fans can already pre-order here for around $3.99.
