Respawn has decided to remove crafting from Apex Legends altogether in order to prevent an exploit from crashing the servers.

Update:

The bug has been resolved by Respawn, and crafting is back in Apex Legends.

Exploiters somehow figured out a way to use the crafting materials to shut down a match by literally crashing the servers. Players from the community have been sharing evidence of this abuse via different social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit to show their frustrations.

Following some investigation regarding the matter, Respawn decided to shut down crafting for the time being to fix the problem that is leading to all these crashes. Until Respawn can figure out exactly how these abusers are exploiting the crafting materials to cause these crashes, Respawn won’t bring back crafting to the game.
