A fan-made skin concept for popular weapons in an online FPS game enables artists to show their appreciation for their favorite game.

Since most of us play more than one online multiplayer shooter at a time, sometimes we wonder what it would look like if Respawn made skins for weapons based on skin lines from a completely different game.

A very savvy Reddit user by the username u/-Alfa- put this idea into practice. This individual designed and animated a whole skin concept for the popular weapon R99 based on the Glitchpop skin bundle from VALORANT.

Glitchpop R99 Looks Amazing

From this demo clip, we can see that this fan created a glitch pop variant of the weapon and even animated the firing and reloading animation to match the overall theme of the Glitchpop skin bundle.

Ever since Riot Games launched VALORANT back in 2020, they have been constantly delivering really unique cosmetic items in the game, like weapon skins. From living, breathing dragons to cyberpunk-inspired skin bundles, VALORANT has it all.

It would be awesome if we could see some sort of collaboration between these two giants on a unique skin line. Even though there is almost no possibility of that ever happening, dreaming about it definitely won’t hurt. Maybe Respawn can create something similar to quench players’ thirst for the moment.
