Aatrox is finally getting a buff for the first time in season 10 while Gragas will taste another buff on patch 10.17.
League of Legends’ lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter previewed the patch 10.17 today. Riot has mentioned that patch 10.17 will be a smaller patch which will include changes to some meta champions. But apparently it seems like Aatrox and Gragas have also made their way into the patch 10.17 buff list.
Aatrox Buff Patch 10.17
- R: Bonus AD: 20-30 >>> 20-40%
Aatrox is one of the few champions who has not received any kind of changes in Season 10. Apart from some bug fixes the last time he received a proper buff or nerf was in patch 9.19.
And after almost a year of waiting, Riot has finally given a buff to Aatrox on patch 10.17 by increasing his R’s bonus AD. Currently, on patch 10.16, Aatrox only has a 48.21% win rate with a 4.3% pick rate. Although this buff might not change much in the soloq, it will have a significant impact in the pro games.
Gragas Buff Patch 10.17
- Armor: 35 >>> 38
Up until patch 10.15, Gragas also didn’t receive any changes in season 10 similar to Aatrox. But even with the patch 10.15 buff where Riot buffed his W and R’s AP ratio, Gragas still has a 46.63% win rate. As a result, Riot is planning to buff him once again by increasing his armor on patch 10.17.
All these new patch 10.17 changes are scheduled to go live on Aug 19, 2020.
