Massive Zyra changes are coming in patch 13.21.
Zyra has been one of their most underrated supports in League of Legends for the last couple of years. She has a great Laning Phase, has pretty solid poke damage, and because her plants, she is obnoxious to play against. Moreover, she beats almost every melee support matchup in the game.
Despite being one of the strongest mage supports in Solo-Queue, she is barely played. The reasoning behind this is her lack of role diversity. She can only be played in the support role. Thus, In Patch 13.21, Riot is adjusting Zyra’s damage numbers so she can be viable in both Support and Jungle.
In this article, we will take a look at the Zyra adjustments and find out how these changes would affect her performance.

Zyra Changes
Here are all the proposed Zyra changes,
- Base Stats:
- Attack Speed: 0.625 >>> 0.681.
- Passive – Garden of Thorns:
- Damage: 20 – 100 (based on level) (+ 15% AP) >>> 20 – 88 (based on level) (+ 18% AP).
- Q – Deadly Spines:
- Damage: 60/95/130/165/200 (+ 60% AP) >>> 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 65% AP).
- E – Grasping Roots:
- Damage: 60/105/150/195/240 (+ 50% AP) >>> 60/95/130/165/200 (+ 60% AP).
Zyra’s Passive – Garden of Thorns, Q – Deadly Spines, and E – Grasping Roots‘ base damage is being lowered, but their scaling is going up significantly. Additionally, her Attack Speed is going up.
Overall, her late game should be much better now. But her early-game power will be weaker, meaning Support Zyra indirectly got nerfed.
