Light Dragon Location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The light dragon circles the outer area of the Hyrule Surface map. It can be quite hard to locate since it doesn’t stay in one place. Go to all the watch towers located on the edges of the map and locate the dragon in that way. There are four different dragons you can find in the game. But if you are looking for the Light dragon, it will have white scales with yellow fur on the head and tail.

How to Get Light Dragon Scale and Uses

Once you locate the dragon, you will have to jump from a high place to get on top of the dragon. You can do this by using one of the many sky view towers or, if the dragon is low enough, from any high place. It can be a bit tricky, so you may need to try a few times if you fail the first time around.

Once you are on top of the dragon, attack its scale either with a bow and arrow or using any of your melee weapons. It will create a spot on the attacked place. Then you can loot the scale from there. But keep in mind that you can only get one scale at one time. After that, you have to wait till the dragon circles the whole map and resets.

You can use this scale to fuse with your weapon, sell it for a good price or mix them in certain elixirs to make some powerful items.
