Archaic Tunic is the very first armour piece the game gives. But if you don’t explore, you may miss it. This tunic is located in the Pondside cave of the Great Sky Island map. Here is the location for this tunic on the map.
If the name Poolside Cave didn’t give away already, the tunic is inside a cave. Go to this location, and you will find a breakable rock formation that you can break to get inside the cave. From there, defeat the enemy that’s defending the chest and claim your tunic from inside it.
