After dominating the last couple of patches, Yuumi will finally taste nerfs while Riot plans to nerf Syndra once again.
League of Legends’ lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter tweeted today previewing the patch 10.13. The upcoming patch is focusing on buffing and nerfing a bunch of champions including Yuumi and Syndra who have been dominating the current meta the most.
Yuumi Nerf Patch 10.13
- E: Mana cost 100-160 >>> 40-60 + 15% of Yuumi’s max mana
Yuumi is currently the most hated champion in League of Legends because of her untargetable kit and insane amount of heal. On the current patch 10.12, Yuumi also has the highest ban rate worldwide.
In all the major regions beside Korea, she has above 70% ban rate, which clearly shows how much people hate her. Even many pro players are also complaining about her recently. And now on patch 10.13, Riot has finally decided to take away some of her strength.
Syndra Nerf Patch 10.13
- Q: Mana cost 40-80 >>> 60-80
Besides Yuumi another champion that is dominating in patch 10.12 on higher Elo and Pro games is Syndra. Although she received a nerf in patch 10.11, her pick rate and ban rate in higher Elo is still impressive.
Syndra has above 25%+ ban rate on Master+ Elo. Although her win rate dropped since patch 10.11 nerf her Pro play presence remained the same. Thus, Riot is planning to give her nerfs once again in patch 10.13.
