After Riot recently released the newest exclusive champion to LoR, Jack, players wonder if he will ever come to League of Legends.

In 2020, Riot Games released a card game based on League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra. The game was inspired by Magic The Gathering and Hearthstone. However, compared to Hearthstone, LoR is more accessible and has more depth, partially thanks to the new region system. And since its release, the game is constantly growing.

In LoR, there are many card types. But the most vital card type is the Champions. Champions are cards that can level up, have multiple abilities and keywords, and provide the highest value. At the start of the game, all the champion cards were League of Legends champions, redesigned for Legends of Runeterra.

But in 2022, Riot released Norra, the first LoR-exclusive champion. Additionally, she was already part of the existing lore of League of Legends. Norra is the missing master of Yuumi. She is a Yordle, hailing from the Bandle City, with some unique gimmick. Her release was met with praise all over the LoR community.

Earlier this year, Riot posted a roadmap for LoR for 2023. In that post, they mentioned that more LoR exclusive champions would be released soon. Many players were speculating that the exclusive champion will be released alongside the first significant expansion of the year.

In March, Riot revealed the newest expansion, Glory in Navori. Additionally, they also revealed all of the upcoming champions, one of them being an LoR-exclusive champion, Jack. Because of Jack’s unique design, players wonder if he will ever come to League of Legends.

Will Jack Come To League of Legends?

Jack is a champion, hailing from Bilgewater. He was initially a follower card for Tahm Kench. But in the recent expansion, Riot expanded on his lore to the point where he is in Ionia, fighting in Sett’s pit.

But unfortunately, Jack isn’t releasing in League of Legends anytime soon. The main reason is that Riot will release fewer champions in the coming seasons. However, Jack is still one of the best candidates in LoR to make a champion.

For one, Jack’s passive could be similar to his LoR passive, where the more mana he regenerates, the more damage he deals. It might not be far-fetched if fine-tuned correctly. Jack also has a slow spell in LoR, where he gains a coin if he kills a unit. And using a coin, a player can refill their mana. And Jack’s last spell Prize Fight, where he forcefully makes one of his allies and an enemy strike each other, though they can’t die from this strike. This ability could be similar to Renata Glasc’s ultimate, where she makes all of the enemy berserk.

And lastly, Jack also has a skin, Carnage Dragon Jack. This skin has new unique level-up animations and new icons for spells. So if Riot wants, they could easily make Jack a champion in League of Legends. And most of the community should be satisfied as we recently have not received many monster champions.
