The Wild Rift Patch 4.4b is finally here. Here’s all the big changes and adjustments.
Patch 4.4 is the last major annual patch of Wild Rift for 2023. Due to this, it is more influential than most other major patches this year.
In this patch, we are getting 3 new champions. They are Fiddlesticks, Sivir, and Zyra. Moreover, Zyra is getting some visual improvement over the PC version. We also got some reworks, new mage items, runes adjustments, etc.
In the last Wild Rift patch, 4.4a, Riot also released the newest game mode, Arena. Originally, a mode from PC in which players could play a match in 2v2v2v2 format. They can either queue up with a friend or solo and be the last team standing.
With that said Riot Games made some much-needed adjustments in the previous minor patch. And now, they have revealed all the changes that are in patch 4.4b.

Wild Rift: Patch 4.4b Notes
Champion Buffs
Darius
Darius has been extremely weak compared to his peers. So, he is receiving some buffs with his passive and his first skill.
- Hemorrhage
- Damage per stack: (13 + 1.5 x (based on level) + 30% bonus Attack Damage) in physical damage over 5s >>> (13 + 2 x (based on level) + 40% bonus Attack Damage) in physical damage over 5s
- Decimate
- Healing: 12% lost Health (max 36%) >>> 15% lost Health (max 45%)
Ezreal
Besides Kai’Sa and Xayah, not many other marksmen champions are doing good in the meta. Ezreal is one popular champion who is extremely underwhelming to play right now. With these and Kraken Slayer buffs, other marksmen will be able to compete again.

- Rising Spell Force
- Attack Speed bonus per stack: 10% (max 4 stacks) >>> 13% (max 4 stacks)
- Mystic Shot
- Cooldown: 5.25/4.5/3.75/3s >>> 4.5/4/3.5/3s
Galio
Galio is a very weak champion overall in the early game. With these health buffs, Galio can be more self-reliant.
- Base stats
- Base Health: 570 >>> 600
- Base Armor: 30 >>> 34
Irelia
Like Darius, Irelia is also having difficulty competing in the top lane. And with the recent mage buffs, it’s also hard for her in the mid-lane. So that’s why she is getting some much-needed buffs.
- Ionian Fervor
- Bonus damage at max stacks: 30~100 + 25% bonus Attack Damage >>> 30~120 + 30% bonus Attack Damage
- Flawless Duet
- Cooldown: 13/12/11/10s >>> 12/11/10/9s
Karma
Even though Karma is doing very well in the support lane, she is very weak compared to other mid-lane mages. And that’s why she is getting some cooldown and damage buffs.
- Inner Flame
- Cooldown: 10/9/8/7s >>> 9/8/7/6s
- Transcendent Embrace
- Damage: 150/250/350 + 60% Ability Power >>> 170/280/390 + 80% Ability Power
Nunu & Willump
While Nunu and Willump have really good damage, they are still extremely slow when it comes to jungle clear and ganking. So, these buffs should help them get to the lane as fast as possible.
- Consume
- Cooldown: 11/10/9/8s >>> 10/9/8/7s
- Heal: 60/95/130/165 + 70% Ability Power + 9% bonus Health >>> 80/115/150/185 + 70% Ability Power + 9% bonus Health
- Absolute Zero
- Minimum damage: 130/190/250 + 50% Ability Power >>> 180/240/300 + 50% Ability Power
- Maximum damage: 715/1045/1375 + 275% Ability Power >>> 915/1245/1575 + 275% Ability Power
Pantheon
Pantheon is not a bad champion overall in the current meta. So, the buff he received is more of a quality-of-life buff than anything. But still, it’s nice to have.
GRAND STARFALL
- Cooldown: 95/85/75s >>> 90/80/70s
Renekton
With the Renekton nerfs in the prior patches, it really weakened him in the long run. But with these and the Kraken Slayer buffs, he should be somewhat back to his original glory.
- Dominus
- Health gain: 250/500/700 >>> 300/525/750
- Cooldown: 75/75/75s >>> 75/70/65s
- Damage: 50/100/150 + 20% Ability Power per second (for 12s) >>> 70/110/150+20% Ability Power per second (for 12s)
Riven
Regardless of whether it’s PC League or Wild Rift, Riven is getting buffed everywhere. In here specifically, she got some damage and cooldown buffs.
- Runic Blade
- Damage: (20% + 2% per champion level) Attack Damage >>> (30% + 2% per Champion level) Attack Damage
- Ki Burst
- Cooldown: 10/9/8/7s >>> 8.5/8/7.5/7s
Swain
Similar to Karma, Swain has also been lacking in damage and heals. So, he is getting some buffs that only a grand general deserves.
- Ravenous Flock
- Max Health gained: 12 Health per stack of Soul Fragment >>> 16 Health per stack of Soul Fragment.
- Demonic Ascension
- Heal: 15/25/35 + 12% Ability Power per second >>> 15/25/35 + 15% Ability Power per second
- Damage: 20/40/60 + 10% Ability Power per second >>> 15/35/55 + 15% Ability Power per second
Champion Nerfs
Hecarim
Hecarim is what many people would consider a perfect jungler. He has a fast, clear speed, really good crowd control, can gank efficiently, and can provide support in every way possible. However, he is too perfect. Due to it, he is getting some nerfs.

Lulu
Alongside Yuumi and Soraka, Lulu is one of the strongest support champions in Wild Rift. Even though Yuumi got some nerfs in the previous patch, it was no use. But next up on the list is Lulu. She can provide all the utilities from a safe distance very easily. While her utilities remain untouched for the late game, she is getting some armor nerfs, which can leave her vulnerable to ganks.
