If you are excited about Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2’s upcoming Season and want to know when it will begin, you’ve come to the right place.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 are arguably the biggest multiplayer titles of 2022. Activision has tried to overcome all the issues it had with its previous Modern Warfare and Warzone titles, and it has been successful so far.
Although both titles had a bumpy launch, Activision fixed most of the issues within a very short time. As a result, fans love every bit of what the games have to offer, and both titles are running at full-throttle.
On top of that, Activision released the mid-season update with Season 1 Reloaded a few days back. Many balance changes and new content was added to the game. Fans are already hyped up with all the new content and can’t wait for Season 2 to go live.
Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 Release Date
Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2’s Battle Pass will end on February 1, 2023. Usually, a new Season goes live on the same day. So, if everything goes according to plan, expect Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare Season Two to go live on February 1, 2023.
However, the date may change at anytime if the developers face difficulties. The date may also change if the developers extend the time, which is a possibility as many might still be unable to complete their Battle Passes within the deadline.
What to Expect from Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 Season Two?
As of writing, there is no concrete information regarding Season Two content. However, there have been rumors of a new map called Resurgence in Warzone 2.0. Although it is pretty unlikely that Activision will add a new map in Warzone 2.0 already, nothing is yet certain.
On the other hand, Activision also added a new Choose Location screen before deploying in DMZ. Rumors also suggest that more maps could be added to DMZ in Season 2 to spice things up. However, these are just leaks and speculations at this point. So, take it with a grain of salt.
