Riot has accidentally revealed details regarding the VALORANT patch 2.06 early and it finally gave us a complete picture of all the major buffs that they have planned out for both Viper and Yoru.
Following Yoru’s release at the start of Episode 2, fans were quick to figure out the limitation of this lurking duelist. Many pro players deemed him not worthy of a pick in any competitive environment. Even though many players thought he had tremendous potential, the current iteration of this agent had too many restrictions to be effective during combat.

On the other side of the aisle, Viper has seen multiple revisions to her kits. However, following all those changes many in the VALORANT community, as well as long-term fans of this agent, still, believe she needs some love.
Riot Games has already teased major buffs to both of these agents in their previous statements. They actually wanted to release these buffs early but due to some time limit, they were unable to do so.
Finally, these two agents received their much anticipated buffs with VALORANT patch 2.06.
Yoru Buffs Patch 2.06
~ Flash activation time decreased 0.8>>> 0.6 seconds
~ Flash duration increased from 1.1>>>1.5
~ Ult Points required are reduced from 7 to 6.
~ TP is no longer refreshed on kills and is instead replenished every 35 seconds
~ TP lasts 30 seconds instead of 20 seconds.
~ Yoru can now use his TP while in his Ultimate
Based on these buffs, we can see Riot Games has made substantial changes to Yoru’s overall abilities. From reducing certain cooldown timers to being able to teleport while in his ultimate, this will take Yoru from the bottom of any tier list to the very top in a matter of days.
Viper Buffs Patch 2.06
~ Enemies that cross through Viper’s Poison Cloud, Toxic Screen, or Viper’s Pit are instantly inflicted with at least 50 decay.
~ Decay overtime decreased from 15 -> 10
Viper also seems to be getting a massive buff with her abilities as now if any player touches her poisonous cloud or wall they will be penalized with at least 50 decay. Meaning they will instantly lose 50% of their HP. Although the HP will return back to normal after some time.
