Riot Games has released VALORANT Patch 12.11, and while this is not the biggest update of the year, it still brings a few important changes before the game moves into its next chapter. Riot describes Patch 12.11 as a light update to close out Act 3, with Act 4 set to begin in two weeks and more content on the way.
The main feature of this patch is the launch of My VALORANT Card, but players will also find several Agent bug fixes, Premier schedule changes, and a long-awaited Judge nerf on Console.
My VALORANT Card Is Now Live
The biggest new feature in VALORANT Patch 12.11 is My VALORANT Card, a new personalized profile tool that lets players show off their identity, skill, and playstyle. Riot says players can use it to create a custom card, share it on social media, and connect with others based on rank, role needs, or simply the kind of squad vibe they are looking for.
The game has always been heavily team-focused, and finding the right stack can sometimes matter just as much as landing shots. My VALORANT Card gives players another way to find teammates without relying only on random matchmaking or third-party communities.
VALORANT Patch 12.11 Fixes Several Agent Bugs
Patch 12.11 also includes a decent number of Agent-related fixes across the roster. Riot has fixed an issue where Agents would repeatedly play the spike pickup voice line when the spike was dropped on Fractureโs zipline. A left-handed mode issue affecting Skye, Neon, and Fadeโs HUD visual effects has also been addressed.
Miks received multiple fixes in this update. Riot fixed a bug where Miks was getting assists for healing allies who were not injured with M-Pulse, and another issue where M-Pulse could not be toggled after players quickly swapped between abilities.
Viper, Sage, Clove, Raze, and Gekko were also touched in this patch, with fixes for Viperโs Pit expansion problems, Sageโs Healing Orb during the buy phase, Cloveโs Not Dead Yet audio, Razeโs Blast Pack damage interaction, and Gekkoโs disappearing reclaimable globules after Thrash.
Breeze and Store Bugs Get Cleaned Up
On the map side, Riot fixed a Breeze issue where multiple Agent abilities could lock onto enemies behind the large boxes on A Main even when those enemies were out of sight. That kind of bug can feel especially unfair in a tactical shooter, so this fix should be welcomed by players who regularly queue into Breeze.
The Store also received a small fix for Arabic language users. Riot addressed an overlap issue affecting buy button prompts while previewing bundles. It is a minor change, but it improves the overall experience for players using that language setting.
Premier Playoffs Are Changing on PC
VALORANT Patch 12.11 brings important changes to the V26A3 Contender and Invite Division Premier schedule for PC players. Playoffs will now take place across multiple days instead of being contained in a single session. The first round begins on June 20, and teams that advance will return on June 21 for their next matchup. Riot is telling players to check the in-client schedule for exact round start times in their region.
Riot also fixed a bug where Premier team tags were not appearing in the Buy menu during the pre-round phase. On top of that, the Create Team flow now has clearer error messaging when a name and tag are already taken.
Console Players Finally Get the Judge Nerf
Console players are also getting a weapon change in Patch 12.11. The Judge minimum spread has been increased from 2.25 to 2.5, bringing over a nerf that previously went live for PC in Patch 12.09.
Shotguns can be frustrating in VALORANT when they feel too forgiving, so this Console update should help bring the weapon closer to its current PC tuning.
Console players also received a fix for Cypher, addressing an issue where the camera model was not visible when placing the ability.
Known Issues Still Remain in Patch 12.11
Riot also confirmed that a few known issues are still being tracked. Waylay can currently place Refract on a roof on Ascent, and Lotus still has a bug where doors sometimes do not open properly.
Neither issue has been fixed in this patch, but Riot acknowledging them means players can probably expect follow-up work in a future update. The Lotus door bug, in particular, can be frustrating since map utility and timing are such a huge part of how rounds play out.
VALORANT Patch 12.11 is not trying to shake up the meta in a major way. Instead, it acts as a cleanup patch before Act 4 begins. The launch of My VALORANT Card gives the community something new to play around with outside matches, while the Agent fixes, Premier updates, and Console Judge nerf help smooth out the overall experience.
With Riot already teasing exciting content for Act 4 in two weeks, Patch 12.11 feels like a calm before the storm. It is not the flashiest update, but it takes care of several annoying issues and sets the stage for what comes next.
