A new shorter game mode similar to Spike rush in length is coming to VALORANT called ‘Escalation’.
This game mode is basically going to be similar to a gun-game mode that many other FPS games have already implemented successfully in the past. However, Riot will put their own spin in the game mode.

The basic premise of this game mode is you will kill your opponents using a series of different random weapons and abilities to advance with your teammates through 12 Escalation levels. So, it will be a 5v5 style game mode where you will progressively get inferior weapons and the average duration of each match should be around 7-9 minutes.

Escalation game mode release date:
The Escalation game mode is stated to launch alongside patch 2.03. However, the exact date has not been announced as of writing.
This game mode should be a great place to practice different sorts of weapons in the game. As in each round players are going to get random weapons, each round should feel unique. Riot just put a new spin to the popular gun-game mode. On top of that, the length of each round is also great for a quick session.
