We finally have more information regarding the upcoming Lunar New Year Celebration event in VALORANT.
VALORANT is a free-to-play tactical shooter from Riot Games. Like most of their other titles, it follows the freemium monetization model, meaning the base game is free-to-play. However, players can still purchase cosmetic items such as skins to customize their play sessions.
To keep the player base engaged, Riot regularly introduces new events containing free rewards. And as the Lunar New Year is here, Riot Games has revealed what cosmetic items they have in store for players for the upcoming event.

In the upcoming Lunar Celebration event, Riot Games will be giving away free cosmetic items such as gun buddies, sprays, radianite points, and player cards. Players are only required to complete all the levels of the event pass to collect all the free tier rewards.
Lunar Celebration Event Pass
To collect all the rewards, players need to complete daily and weekly challenges to garner XP. And after collecting enough XP, each reward tier will be unlocked. Keep in mind that this is a limited-time event. So, players will need to finish it before the event ends to get all the free rewards.

The exact date for the upcoming Lunar Celebration event has not been revealed as of writing. Expect the update to arrive alongside Patch 4.02. Lastly, the event will last around 15 days.
