VALORANT: How To Make Your Crosshair Not Move

If you’re having trouble with your Crosshair moving in VALORANT, don’t worry, this guide will tell you why this happens and how you can fix it.

VALORANT is a 5v5 tactical shooter Agents’ abilities meet the precise gunplay. The game is heavily inspired by Counter-Strike: Global Offensive which has pretty similar sets of weapons and features in the game.

However, there are also notable other features that Riot Games implemented to its game that are unique to the game. For instance, the Crosshair option. VALORANT allows you to customize your Crosshair as per your liking.

You can change your Crosshair color, make different profiles for Crosshairs, copy others’ Crosshairs, and more with VALORANT’s Crosshair menu. The recent Crosshair update from 5.04 Patch has increased the Crosshair customization options even more.

Having all these customizable options are great. However, they can also create confusion among the players, especially the beginners and newcomers. Recently, many players have complained about their Crosshairs moving while shooting or moving. But don’t worry, we’ll tell you why it happens and how you can fix it.

How To Make Your Crosshair Not Move

VALORANT has two different features for which your Crosshair can move while playing the game. These two features are called Firing Error and Movement Error. Having these two features turned on cause your Crosshair to move.

So, you need to turn Firing Error and Movement Error off from both Inner Lines and Outler Lines Crosshair options to make your Crosshair not move in VALORANT.

To turn Firing Error and Movement Error Off, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings> Crosshair>Primary.
  2. Go to Inner Lines and turn:
    • Movement Error: Off
    • Firing Error: Off
  3. Go to Outer Lines and turn:
    • Movement Error: Off
    • Firing Error: Off
  4. Close Settings.

There you go! Now when you hop into a match in VALORANT, you will not be having any trouble with your Crosshair moving like before.
