Riot Games pushes small to big patches into VALORANT regularly to improve it. With every update, VALORANT undergoes Agent, gameplay, map, and quality of life changes that always keep the game fresh and enjoyable.

Riot Games recently added three new features and improved one already existing Crosshair setting through the 5.04 patch. These Settings gave players more options while making new or updating old Crosshairs for better clarity and accessibility.

How Does Custom Crosshair Colors Work in VALORANT?

With Patch 5.04, VALORANT added a custom Crosshair color option, allowing players to make their Crosshair any color they want. Previously VALORANT only had 7 Crosshair color options: White, Green, Yellow Green, Green Yellow, Yellow, Cyan, Pink, Red.

While these options are great and give you plenty of choices for your Crosshair customization, having more color options for your Crosshair does not hurt. VALORANT added a Hex code (6-digit RGB) option with the new custom Crosshair color update. changing the values with the right combinations for specific colors will change your Crosshair to that particular color.

For instance, if you want to change your Crosshair color to Red, instead of choosing the color Red from the given Crosshair Color options, you can choose Custom and type #FF0000 and hit enter. After that, VALORANT will change your crosshair color to Red, accompanied by the #FF0000 Hex code.

As now you know how VALORANT’s new custom Crosshair color option works, let’s get into the step-by-step guide on how to create your own custom Crosshair color:

  • Launch VALORANT using Riot Client.
  • Press ESC or click the Gears icon from the Top Right side of the screen.
  • Press the Settings button and go to Crosshair Tab
  • Go to Primary
  • Click on the Drop Down menu beside the Crosshair Color and select Custom
  • Put your desired 6-Digit Hex code/ RGB value and press enter.

After pressing enter, you’ll have your desired Crosshair color in VALORANT. If you put any wrong Hex code value, your Crosshair will revert back to the old color. So, don’t worry about losing your old Crosshair color.

Riot Games also added 5 additional Crosshair Profile slots for you so that you can save more crosshairs in your game. So, don’t forget to save your Crosshair Profile in the new slots.

  • Launch VALORANT using Riot Client.
  • Press ESC or click the Gears icon from the Top Right side of the screen.
  • Press the Settings button and go to Crosshair Tab

  • Click on the Drop Down menu beside the Center Dot Color and select Custom
  • Put your desired 6-Digit Hex code/ RGB value and press enter.

Best Custom Crosshair Colors for VALORANT

Using Hex code, you can basically create over 16 million color combinations. However, you don’t need to use so many combinations as they will not provide you with extra benefits. Also, you can only save up to 15 Crosshair Profiles at once. So, creating a bunch of Crosshairs with random colors will only do more harm than good.

In any case, we will now list the more common Crosshair Colors in VALORANT, accompanied by their Hex codes:
