As mentioned earlier, there can be several reasons why you are facing difficulty logging into VALORANT. The solutions can also be very different for each case. However, this guide will provide you with a one-stop solution for all VALORANT login issues.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to fix your login issues in VALORANT:

  1. Check your Riot ID credentials.
  2. Exit VALORANT.
  3. Close all the Valorant-related processes and services from the task manager.
  4. Check your internet connection for stable connectivity.
  5. Restart your internet modem and router.
  6. Check VALORANT Service Status page to make sure if any server or game maintenance is going on or not.
  7. Restart your computer.
  8. Run VALORANT as administrator mode.

If your Riot ID is okay and your computer has no internet connection problem, following these steps should fix your login issues in VALORANT. However, if login failure persists, you may want to follow these additional steps:

  1. In the Windows search bar, type Windows Defender Firewall and click on it.
  2. Click Allow a program through the Windows firewall.
  3. Click Change Settings.
  4. Remove any current VALORANT and Riot Client entries, then add a new one with the Allow another app button.
  5. Locate C:\Riot Games\VALORANT\live\VALORANT.exe for the new firewall exceptions and click OK.
  6. On the firewall exceptions, check all boxes for VALORANT and click OK at the bottom.
  7. Repeat the above process to add an exception for our Anticheat at C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\vgc.exe and click OK.
  8. Once more, repeat the process to add an exception for the Launcher at C:\Riot Games\Riot Client\RiotClientServices.exe and click OK.
  9. Uninstall and Reinstall Riot Vanguard.
  10. Restart your computer.
