The makers of Assassin’s Creed and Prince of Persia franchise are revamping their Ubisoft+ subscription services.
The gaming giant Ubisoft is bringing changes to its subscription plan to appeal to fans of classic games and added a new premium tier. The company’s latest move in the gaming subscription landscape reflects a growing trend in offering different titles, letting users select a plan that will fit their budget and interests.
In a blog post on its website, Ubisoft revealed that the company will merge the Ubisoft+ Multi-Access and PC Access to become Ubisoft+ Premium, which will now cost $17.99 per month. The Ubisoft+ Classics PC tier is the new subscription plan, which can be purchased for $7.99 per month.

Ubisoft+ Premium and Classics Differences
Ubisoft Plus Premium will offer players day-one access to new releases or early access to upcoming titles. The Premium subscription plan will also offer premium edition DLC and monthly rewards to the players. For example, the Premium subscribers will have day one access to new releases like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and future Ubisoft games. Ubisoft+ Premium will be available on PC, Xbox, and Amazon Luna, and subscribers will need to subscribe once to gain access to games across all these platforms.
On the other hand, Ubisoft is also offering Ubisoft+ Classics, which previously provided PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers with a carefully chosen selection of back catalog games, now accessible for PC users for $7.99 per month. This catalog will offer titles like Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs: Legion, as well as access to fifty-plus other titles previously limited to PlayStation and now coming to PC.
“We think it’s a strong offer at the price point, and the catalog will only grow as we keep adding games to it as time goes on, so players can discover even more of our worlds,” Tremblay said in explaining the decision to announce the Ubisoft+ Classics subscription.
