VALORANT could soon be getting another major addition to its weapon arsenal. A new leak has revealed what appears to be a brand-new rifle called the Warden, featuring full-auto fire, a built-in 2x scope, and a 2,900-credit price tag.

The leaked weapon immediately stands out because it appears designed to combine traditional rifle gameplay with stronger long-range capabilities. However, Riot Games has not officially announced the Warden yet. Riot’s latest published update is Patch 13.05, and its official game update feed currently makes no mention of the weapon.

In brief:

  • Warden is reportedly a new fully automatic rifle with a 2x scope.
  • The weapon reportedly costs 2,900 credits and carries 18 rounds per magazine.
  • Its leaked fire rate is 6.5 rounds per second, with medium wall penetration.
  • Exact Warden head, body, and leg damage values have not yet been revealed.

Based on the leaked information, the Warden’s currently known specifications are:

  • Weapon type: Full-auto rifle
  • Price: 2,900 Credits
  • Magazine: 18/90
  • Scope: 2x
  • Fire rate: 6.5 rounds per second
  • Reload time: 2.5 seconds
  • Wall penetration: Medium

The 2,900-credit price is particularly interesting since that puts the Warden directly into the same full-buy price range traditionally occupied by the Vandal and Phantom. Current weapon listings also place both of those rifles at 2,900 credits.

What Are the Warden’s Damage Stats?

Unfortunately, the leaked Warden information does not currently reveal its damage values.

There are no reliable figures yet for head, body, or leg damage, including whether damage changes over distance. Those numbers will ultimately determine where the Warden fits alongside VALORANT’s existing rifles.

Its relatively small 18-round magazine and slower 6.5 RPS fire rate suggest Riot could be trading raw spray potential for accuracy or higher individual bullet damage, but that remains speculation until more information appears.

When Could the Warden Release in VALORANT?

Riot has not announced a release date for the Warden. Interestingly, Riot has already described the upcoming Patch 13.06, scheduled for September 22, as a considerably larger update, though the studio has not connected that patch to a new weapon.
