According to a reputed CoD leaker, Treyarch is developing a new Warzone 2.0 map alongside their premium title release in 2024.
Call of Duty has received a new lifecycle model, with each title getting a 2-year-long game life. This time frame was bound to be a year for the past few years, making the games feel lackluster. However, due to the underwhelming reception of Vanguard, Activision has decided to switch back to 2-year game cycles.
Modern Warfare is the first game to receive a two-year life cycle with this new move from Activision. Like the previous games, the next title release will move to Treyarch. However, reputed leaker TheGhostofHope claims that Treyarch is also working on a new map alongside their premium title set to release in 2024.

Treyarch’s New Map for Warzone 2.0
In a recent tweet, Hope claimed that “Treyarch will be leading map design for a new WZ2.0 map set to release alongside their premium release in 2024. Support studios will help with the asset creation/placement.”
This surprises most players as MW2 and WZ2 have not seen the light of day yet, and Treyarch’s developing a new map. Moreover, There have been speculations about a resurgence-style map coming to Warzone 2.0 after its release.
Although it is too early to tell if Treyarch’s developing a large map or a resurgence-style map, fans are hoping the new map turns out to be a revamped version of Rebirth Island. However, it’s important to remember that these are just leaks, and the developers have yet to confirm the information. As a result, take these leaks with a grain of salt until an official announcement comes out.
