Tracking pro players in the Chinese server: IGN, how to watch, and more

League of Legends’ Worlds 2020 is just around the corner and pro players are already on China preparing for the grand tournament. Here’s how you can track your favorite pro player in the Chinese server.

The 2020 League of Legends Worlds Championship is one of the most anticipated esports tournaments of the year starting September 25. Although the tournament was originally planned to take place across six different cities in China, due to the ongoing pandemic it will only happen in Shanghai.

Ahead of the Worlds, all the qualified teams from different regions have already arrived in Shanghai and currently staying in a hotel. Upon arriving most of the pro players have started taking preparation for the Worlds; scriming and playing soloq on the Chinese Super Server.

How to watch Pro players game in the Chinese server

Although Twitch is banned in China, many pro players including Jankos had tried to stream on Twitch. However, during the live stream, Jankos was told to end his stream immediately. Additionally, a Brazilian player has also confirmed on Twitter that they were told the hotel’s network can’t handle everyone streaming.

Therefore a lot of players are currently streaming on their discord servers. Moreover, unless you have an account on the Chinese Super Server and added with any high Elo players, you will not be able to spectate them as well.

However, popular League streamer Midbeast is currently spectating the pro players live in his Twitch channel. Besides Midbeast, there are also two well-known streaming sites in China where you can find high Elo Chinese players or channels that track the pro players: Huya and Douyu. How to track Pro players rank in the Chinese server

You will not be able to use stats sites like op.gg or others to track players’ rank while they are playing on the Chinese Super Server.

However, a Reddit user u/anastasis14 has made an excellent spreadsheet, that shows all the players ranks, wins, losses, KDA, and most picked champions.
